About the event
Welcome to a two days immersion in the wisdom of the female body!
This nurturing weekend will include a delicious mix of teachings about the menstrual cycle, soft feminine yoga and delicious wholesome organic food – with a panoramic view of the Oslo fjord.
In our present society, the menstrual cycle is often regarded as a nuisance, or even something inherently bad. However, by becoming aware of it's monthly ebb and flow, we can tap into a well of wisdom residing inside our bodies.
By working with our menstrual cycle, our monthly rhythm can become something that enriches our lives and deepen our relationships to ourselves. We can learn to turn our cyclic movement into something that makes us feel more fulfilled and in tune with ourselves, and by following it's ebb and flow we can gain more energy to direct into our daily lives and the paths we are called to walk.
In this workshop, we will use dynamic teachings and exercises blended with soft yoga, to learn about our cyclic bodies and connect to them in a new and deeper way.
In this workshop you will get an introduction to working with your menstrual cycle as an ally in building physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. You will learn:
• How the menstrual cycle functions.
• How we can live more in sync with the different phases of the menstrual cycle.
• How to observe physiological signs of fertility and infertility, and how to we can learn to use that knowledge as an effective, modern and natural method of birth control.
• Natural strategies for healing menstrual cycle problems like PMS, menstrual cramps, PCOS and infertility.
• How growing a deep relationship to our menstrual cycle also means growing a deep relationship to Nature.
And most of all, this will be a space for you to sink into even deeper contact with yourself and your body - together with other women, in a safe and nurturing space created in beautiful surroundings.
